The exterior surface of the Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque is covered with Sivec marble from Greece and Macedonia; its central dome is one of the largest mosque-domes in the world.

Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque Center

Get to the Mosque and watch its rich traditional designs, from floor to ceiling, as the name says its ‘grand’ in every angle. Attractions here are plenty... most notable among them are the world’s largest hand-woven carpet (measuring around 60,570 sq ft. this carpet was hand-woven by about 1,200 - 1,300 carpet knitters), largest marble mosaic floral design in the world, third-largest chandelier in the world (that adorns the main prayer hall), glass panels studded with Swarovski crystals, and many more! The interiors of The Abu Dhabi Grand Mosque are richly decorated with verses of the Holy Quran in three varieties of Arabic calligraphy.

As you move around the premises you can see the reflective pools that surround the Mosque, which in turn amplifies its beauty! Overall you will never get tired of exploring the gigantic structural masterpieces. After completing the Mosque visit, you will be dropped back to the selected location/hotel by us.

This is excursion is not to be missed. Ocean Air did an amazing job and we were very thankful for our guide Ramadan and driver Zaber. Ramadan arrived promptly and did a great job communicating via what’s app prior to arrival. We were very comfortable on the drive there and learned so much about the Mosque as well and background regarding culture and experience for the various groups that reside within the UAE.

Absolutely incredible trip to the amazing sheikh Zayed Masjid.
The tour guide Shan was also so informative, helped us take photos and was so friendly! He explained everything to us very well about the do’s and donts inside the mosque. He told us really interesting facts about Dubai and the mosque. Can’t fault this trip, a must do if visiting Dubai/Abu Dhabi !

This trip was excellent, especially the fantastic guide Oussama who was incredibly friendly, extremely knowledgeable and engaging with his sharing of information on history of UAE, the religion of Islam and the details of the mosque itself. The trip ran smoothly, on time but also with sufficient time for photos, explanations and to ask questions. Highly recommend this excursion and particularly Oussama.

We just had 2 days in Dubai and wanted to see the sheikh Zayed Mosque in Abu Dhabi. It is definitely worth to visit the mosque even it's just half day. The guide Mariana was very professional + friendly and we could get some nice photos from there.
