Well organised, friendly team, Trey a good coach / instructor guided us trough an amazing landscape and a fast cool track trough the dunes.
Nice breaks with good conversations between for a short rest until it went back on track.

Group tour on the dunes

We were a group of 7 and really enjoyed a memorable time out on the dunes. The experience with Big Red from booking to being transferred from our hotels to their facility and then going out on the dunes was really 5*. The dune buggies were high quality and in great condition which can not be said for other companies. We were taken care of by Moss and Albert, who were great fun whilst ensuring we remained safe and they really showed us a great time making sure that we really made the most of our experience, sharing really interesting insights. Really recommend them both and the broader organisation and look forward to going out on the dunes with them in the near future.

Bouncing In The Sand

This should be a “must do” on every Dubai trip. Our family had two hours of absolute fun and adventure as we hurtled through the dunes led by our awesome guide Jamie. He gauges experience and ability carefully allowing us to push our boundaries safely. We will for sure be back again and would thoroughly recommend this professional team.

Amazing adventure in the desert

We had an amazing time with our guide Moss in the desert. I did not have much previous experience with three types of buggies but he taught us we'll and we had a blast. Would definitely recommend.

First Class Service and Guide(Chris)

We booked the early bird 2 hour trek. The night before our driver messaged on WhatsApp to confirm our pick up time. In the morning he was nice and early and we had our own car that drove us to big red adventure tours desert location. On arrival we were greeted by our tour guide Chris. Throughout the whole check in process he stayed with us which was very helpful. We went out with 2 other buggy’s plus the guide. Chris gave us a safety briefing and then we were good to go. The tour itself was first class. The buggy’s and equipment are all in excellent condition. We drove for about 45 minutes then stopped to take some photos and do some sandboarding which was a lot of fun. Chris took photos throughout and these then get sent to you after the tour is finished and free of charge. He also took loads of water and crisps that you can have during the tour. We then went around the dunes and stopped at a camel farm. After this we were back on the dunes until our time was up. During the whole tour we were asking Chris various questions about Dubai and the tour and his knowledge was excellent. He was really nice and made sure everyone has a good time. He’s only been a guide for a month but you would think it was a lot longer as his customer service is excellent and he’s a credit to the company. Once the tour finished we were given a free T-shirt with a picture of ourselves on it. You can choose a T-shirt or a mug at the start of the day. We were then taken back to our hotel at the marina(45mims) by our driver. You can chose to go a camel ride after the tour but we have done this previously so didn’t bother this time. Overall a great experience with a great company and even better guide

We took a 2-hours sunset tour on Maverick for 2 person. Need to say that it took longer than we expected. 2 hours 40 minutes driving across the deserts. Some time to adapt to the car and landscape and you will feel that you are Michael Schumacher. Night driving was superb! The my maximum speed was 68 km/h :)

JP is a really cool guy and driver! Definitely need to experience it at least once if you are in Dubai.

Wow what an experience! After having a baby I’ve become a massive wuss, unfortunately for me I’m married to a massive adrenaline junky!

We booked the 2 hour group tour however the second my husband seen the other people on our tour he realised that being with a group of ‘beginners’ wouldn’t give him the experience he was after. He mentioned this to the guide who was happy to upgrade us (at an extra cost) to a private tour.

Our tour guide Ruan was amazing, he made me feel safe given how nervous I was and gave my husband the exhilarating experience he was after!

I would definitely recommend this to anyone and if you’re confident and after that speed then go for the private tour.

Don’t hesitate- book it!! Absolutely amazing experience - 2 hours of solid fun!

A steady drive in the desert

The actual experience was amazing, a great tour guide Moss, great views and a great time. The reason to why I marked this 4 out of 5 is that the experience was fun and amazing, however we had two people in our group that were very slow at driving in the desert and slowed the full group down and made some of the drives like a drive out with granny, although granny would have probably been faster. Fair play to Moss, he tried to motivate these individuals but they wouldn’t listen.
