Then a quick drive to Al Qudra Lakes part of the Al Marmoom Desert Conservation Reserve. Across the series of lakes at Al Qudra, you can enjoy a picnic or a leisurely ride. It’s a great way to see Dubai’s beautiful desert sunrise with a waterfront view and spot some local wildlife. Dress code: lightweight summer clothing is suitable for most of the year, but sweaters or jackets may be needed for the winter months, especially in the evenings. Good quality sunglasses are advised. Hats are advisable when in direct sunlight.

Loved the peaceful sunrise! It was a bit hazy so it wasn't a dramatic sunrise but it was a gorgeous way to see the desert... spotted gazelles, oryx and even a rabbit, which was unexpected. Lots of birds and birds singing by the lake. Javeed was really helpful and informative and an excellent driver! The dune bashing was great fun and my son loved the sand boarding. Very well organised. Would highly recommend!

Musthafa was very kind, knowledgeable, and made sure that we were ok at all times. The desert is beautiful, we got to see many animals, the provided breakfast was good, and the sandboarding and dune bashing were a lot of fun. Just know that 'private' means that you have a private vehicle, but that there are other tourists at the breakfast. In our case it was not expected but turned out to be fine. All in all a very nice experience, thank you!
